Trophy is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Namibia (ICAN) as well as the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA). He holds a Master's Degree in business administration, from Herriot-Watt University, Scotland, Bachelor of Commence Honours from the University of KwaZulu Natal and Bachelor of Accounting from University of Namibia.
He joined Hangala Capital on the 1st of October 2020 as the Managing Director of the company. Before joining Hangala Capital, Trophy was an audit partner at PwC Namibia responsible for major clients in the financial service industry mainly Insurance, Investment Management and Pension Funds. He has 14+ years of experience of providing external audit to clients within the three (3) sectors of financial service industry as stated above.
