Elia joined the Hangala Capital team in April 2019 as the Group's Financial Accountant. Leading the Finance team, Elia is responsible for the delivery of finance services such as accounting, reporting and budgeting in accordance with legislative requirements and organizational policies and strategies. Elia has over 10 years' experience in providing professional services across a broad range of finance areas including compliance, audit and financial reporting. Prior to joining Hangala Capital, Elia served as a Senior Auditor at BDO Namibia where he spent 5 years in audit and completed his Public Accountants' and Auditors Board (PAAB) articles training. Elia holds an Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) - Advance Degree in Accounting & Business, and a Bachelor of Accounting (Honours) Degree from the University of Namibia.
